Manage MS through correction of a nutritional deficiency

The role of gut bacteria in Multiple Sclerosis

Over the last two decades we have learnt a lot about how our gut bacteria (the gut microbiome) can affect the brain, the so-called gut-brain axis. This can happen through a number of ways, but one of the most important is through the effects the microbiome has on our immune system.

The microbiome “educates” our immune system and if the types of bacteria are unbalanced then our immune system can also lose its balance, leading to inflammation and auto-immune activity. Many studies have shown that people with MS have an abnormal pattern of bacteria, a state known as dysbiosis.

Studies performed in the US, EU and China all show that this dysbiosis results in a reduction in propionate. Reduced levels of propionate can lead to an increase in inflammatory immune cells which can be a factor in multiple sclerosis. CEVENTRIX™ provides a dose intended to restore the natural levels of propionate required in our body.

Ved å korrigere propionat-mangel gjennom ernæring, hjelper CEVENTRIX™ kroppen med å gjenopprette en mer naturlig immunbalanse.

CEVENTRIX™ has no additives and is produced in Norway under the quality standard called HACCP.
