CEVENTRIX \u2122 is specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of people with multiple sclerosis (MS).<\/span><\/p><p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large XcVN5d tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Oversettelse\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The positive research behind the short-chain fatty acid propionate made it clear to us that such a product should be made available to people with MS. The regulatory category for the product is &laquo;Food for Special Medical Purposes&raquo;, which means that the product can be targeted at people with MS. Research has shown that people with MS appear to have a reduced level of propionate, which can result in abnormal immune function. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large XcVN5d tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Oversettelse\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">DAHRT Biocare received funding from Innovation Norway to make it possible to develop the product and make it commercially available.
